Markdown Viewer is designed as a local-first tool. When you open, paste, edit, preview, or export Markdown normally, your content stays in your browser.

Local autosave and recent documents are stored on your device using browser storage. You can clear this data from the app settings at any time.

Files are not uploaded for normal viewing or editing. Future sharing features, if enabled, will clearly explain when content is encoded into a link or sent to a server.

The tool may use privacy-conscious analytics after launch to understand product usage and performance. Analytics will not include your Markdown content.
